‘This photo shows Logan winning Best Sable in Show at the White &
Long Coat Shepherd Society show, held at Huddersfield in April 2008. As the photo
shows he is a magnificent dog and deserved the award. I was very proud of him as
he can be nervous, but he performed so well in the ring on the day. As well as his
achievement in the show, Logan has been achieving a lot via his training at
mypetstop and his attendance at Canine Capers, and is now progressing in leaps
and bounds. A big “Thank You” to the staff and also to the other participants
(especially at Canine Capers) who are so patient with Logan and eager to praise
his achievements in class.’

‘Bonnie was out exercising with my daughter when she went down a dip in
the grass and damaged her back. We took her to the vets straight away and were
referred to a neurosurgeon. By now Bonnie was paralysed and had to have an operation
to remove two discs. After crate rest Bonnie was bunny hopping and we were advised
to take her for hydrotherapy.’
‘Bonnie has been going to hydrotherapy at mypetstop ever since. With the help,
advice and dedication from Lisa and all her hard work Bonnie has made a great improvement.
She can now walk, run and play. I feel that without all the knowledge and dedication Lisa
has towards the animals that come in, Bonnie would not be the dog she is today. I would
like to thank Lisa for everything she has done for Bonnie, I could never put it into words
the gratitude I feel towards Lisa, she is one in a million, and is a credit to the company
she works for.’

‘...been visiting centre for 7 weeks now, attending Puppy Foundation and Canine Capers...on every occasion I
have found staff to be welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and these attributes combined with a professional
approach inspires confidence. I have nothing but praise for Wendy the dog trainer. As I would have expected the puppies
are of different ages and developmental stages, but at all times we are given exercises that match, or stretch the
capabilities of our puppies and ourselves...and above all the sessions provide support and encouragement.’

‘I just wanted to say thank you for today’s session. I feel like I have learned a lot and got some excellent advice. As ever for me, the best bit was that Ty’s welfare and special needs (naughty behaviour!) came first. He was glad to get home but not stressed at all, and I am delighted – he looks gorgeous! Thanks so much for your care, advice and patience.’

‘The training arranged by Wendy has a completely different ethos to what I have encountered elsewhere, being based on reward, fun and gentle handling of our pets. This prompts a happy and eager response from the dogs and so an atmosphere whereby they learn quickly and with great enthusiasm. I am lucky that I am now retired and training has become a fun hobby for me and so mypetstop® is quite a big part of my life. When we say to Barney, Sky and Shadow ‘shall we go to school?’ there is 5 minutes of ecstatic dancing around and howls of happiness – perhaps the best feedback you can get!’

‘Thank you all for looking after Rustie. I think she really enjoyed her stay while with you and looks very well! A special thank you to the young lady who personally saw to Rustie and even washed her bed and blanket. Thank you.’

‘We really enjoyed the day as it was very informative. We appreciate the patience Lynette showed with our dogs as they usually dread going to the grooming salon.’

‘As you can see from the before and after shots the McDerby’s have developed a definite aptitude for grooming under Lynette’s watchful eye.

‘I'd just like to say, after searching a lot of kennels for my Border Collie, Rio, and worrying about leaving him somewhere unfamiliar while we went on a family holiday abroad, that mypetstop is in my opinion, second to none. ??After a burglary last year, which left Rio really clingy and very anxious, the team at mypetstop assured me he'd receive the best care, attention, cuddles and exercise. They didn’t mind that I called to check on him every day and the staff were wonderful telling me all about his day. When I came to pick him up (Half expecting him to be clingy with me again) he was excited to see me but more excited to see the staff who had obviously treated him like a prince! They all seemed to know him, and looking at the kennels for all the dogs, they were all spotlessly clean and in a lovely area. I'd like to thank the whole team at mypetstop in Manchester for looking after my baby so well.’

‘My husband and I would like to thank the staff for their care of Lola our Scottish terrier. She came home happy and healthy with none of the usual problems of adjustment associated with a stay in kennels. In fact she came home more lively and happy than before’

July 2007 - Northern Basenji Society Championship Show , held at mypetstop® Leeds on July 15th
‘I would just like to express the thanks of myself and my committee for the welcome and help that your staff extended to us. Once again we had a wonderful show not least thanks to Mypetstop who helped to make this our 40th Anniversary Celebratory show a great success.
‘Mypetstop (Tingley) is the ideal venue to hold a single breed championship show but then it should be after all it's custom built for dogs with its ultra modern facilities and something suited to Basenjis - enough ring accommodation to really get them pacing around with that free flowing movement. In my opinion this is the best venue anywhere to show Basenjis, or if it comes to that any other breed, with a wonderful arena for the dogs, a great spectator's viewing balcony and at arena level a main viewing area separated from the show ring’.
Les, Secretary of the Northern Basenji Society.

We have just completed the Agility Foundation Course at Leeds and it was fab! Our instructor, Donna, was great with us, so patient, informative, supportive, but most of all made it fun. We've now signed up for the Intermediate Class and can't wait! Thanks for a great time!

‘I must congratulate your grooming workshop that I attended on Sunday 11th February 2007. It was a most enjoyable and very informative day and I cannot praise Lynette enough, she was very friendly and took time to explain the best ways to care for my dog Paddy’.

‘I attended a one day grooming course run by Lynette on Sunday 11th February. I just wanted to say that it was a wonderful day. Lynette was so knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful. It is rare in this day and age to come across such a user friendly and efficient days course.’

‘I had a wonderful day with Lynette. Her training was excellent and lots of fun. I learnt so much over the course of the day – from the basic skills of holding my scissors correctly to specific cutting and clipping techniques. Lynette’s handling of Archie was also very impressive. Despite only being 5 months old, Archie was extremely compliant for Lynette. The final results of the day were amazing.’

'I boarded my two West Highland Terriers, Millie & Lilly, over Christmas and I was so pleased with the overall setup at the centre. This was our first boarding experience as I would never dream of leaving them in a 'Kennel' so I was amazed when I found mypetstop® in Manchester. From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us bearing in mind I am probably the customer from hell, even when I began to cry as I left they were really nice. I rang up several times whilst I was away and on each occasion they put my mind at ease. I would recommend mypetstop® to any pet owner they really are great, but don't take my word for it try it for yourself.'

'I just wanted to say it was nice to go away and know that Scruffy was in such good hands. We did expect her to occasionally get 'ASBO'd' from 'Doggy Day Camp' as she does get very excited playing with other dogs. Clearly she had such a good time in there that she didn't jeopardise her chances. Thanks again.'

'We have been using the hydrotherapy facilities at mypetstop® since last September, when Katy our 10 year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with arthritis in her back legs and the early stages of CDRM. Although her condition will gradually get worse our vet suggested that hydrotherapy and medication would aid her mobility for longer.
We booked a trial session where we met Lisa and Helen, both of whom are extremely professional and caring with the dogs. Katy’s mobility has improved and she thoroughly enjoys her swims.
After a few weeks we decide to try Leo our 5 year old Shepherd and booked him in for a 'Fun Swim'. Although he was more nervous of going in the pool than Katy, with gentle encouragement from Lisa and Helen and lots of play, he now enjoys his swims almost as much as Katy does.
Both Katy and Leo swim every week, the facilities are clean and very well run and we would have no hesitation in recommending hydrotherapy at mypetstop® to anyone.

February 2007 Jordi, a 4½ year old German Shepherd Dog suffers from hip dysplasia and now has hydrotherapy sessions at mypetstop® in Manchester
'Lisa, who runs the swims, ensures that Jordi has a good workout without overdoing it and has plenty of fun so that swimming is not something scary but an enjoyable experience. Although, I think Jordi enjoys getting everyone soaked the most!!!. It is definitely helping Jordi with her hip dysplasia and we certainly notice a difference when she does miss a session.
Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone whose dog requires hydrotherapy to give mypetstop® a try. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of all, though, it is how they treat your dog during those sessions. Jodi’s introduction to swimming was done slowly and gradually so that it was not something that would frighten her and make her afraid of water. Her initial lessons were carefully structured to build her muscles up without overtiring her and Lisa made sure that we understood what the exercises were doing for Jordi and how they would help her deal with her hip dysplasia.
We enjoy taking Jordi swimming and I think that Jordi enjoys it as well and that is what really matters the most.'
